ORYZA GAMMAX® is the trademark of Gamma Oryzanol (γ-Oryzanol) which is produced by ORYZA OIL & FAT CHEMICAL CO., LTD. This product is extracted and refined from the rice bran of Oryza sativa Linne (Gramineae).
What is Gamma Oryzanol
Gamma Oryzanol (γ-Oryzanol) is a naturally occurring component in rice bran and rice germ and can be extracted from only Rice Bran Oil. It was first extracted in Japan in 1953 by Kaneko and Tsuchiya et al... γ-oryzanol is not a single component, but the mixture of ferulic acid esters with phytosterols. There are increasing numbers of reports indicating the benefits, efficacy, and safety of γ-oryzanol.
